There's three methods to Make Firefox Old extensions compatible with Firefox 3 letest release.In past I use Firefox 2.xx and with it I used many useful extensions like autocopy,

The first way is - nightly tester tools extension:
This extension was made for purpose of control other extensions and manage then easily.
Using the nightly tester tools extension, we can make all of our extensions compatible with the Firefox 3.

• First install the plug in from here: Nightly Tester Tools
• Then go to "tools" >> "add ons" and
• click on the “make all compatible" button at the bottom of the add ons window.

The second way is - MR Tech's toolkit extension:
This extension is the one of I most preferred extension and I recommend to install it.
First install it from here. : MR Tech's toolkit

• Then Go to "Tools" >> MR Tech's ToolkIt Settings and click on it
• In the extension window click on "Miscellaneous" tab
• And Uncheck the box of "Enable Addons compatibility checking" option
  

The Third way is Edit configuration file of firefox.

• Open your browser window and in address bar type "about:config"
• Right click the list and create a boolean extensions."checkCompatibility" option there. Set its value to "false" and restart the browser.
  

Most of your extensions should work with you now.I'm using Mr Tech's toolkit and it work great for me.

Save settings and exit. Upon reboot, Knoppix will load.

Knoppix is much like windows and it comes with its own CD burner. Locate it, launch it and backup everything you want on CD. Now you don't have to worry anymore!

• There is another way for backup your data when computer crash.

For this case you require a second PC. Open the case of your computer and remove the hard disk from your crashed pc.

Install it as a slave one to the second PC.

Depending on respective configurations, you may have to change some jumper settings on the drive. Read the manual for help with installing hard drives and setting jumpers of second pc.

After this is done, boot the second PC. If you done above steps correctly, now you should be able to access your drive without problems.

Copy everything you need from your own hard drive to the other one.

Replace your computer's hard disk, fix all problems of it and reverse the process to copy the data back to your computer.

• First thing is BACK-UP- Buy some decent DVD-R discs and put everything useful in them. When you have more useful stuff, backup again. Do this often.

• You should Keep your computer healthy- Use an antivirus software, an anti-spy, and a firewall software. Keep them updated. Check regularly for Windows critical fixes. ( Windows firewall not enough so please concentrate about intelligent, effective firewall software. )

• Never install software that would do dangerous things to your hard drive. A boot manager would fall in this category.

• Use a registry cleaner before and after you install or uninstall any software. Also it's recommand to use Uninstaller software, than effective normal windows uninstaller. Many of the problems that will keep Windows from booting are caused by sloppy software that mess up your registry.

• Run "chkdsk" now and then.
  

Go to Start> Run. Type "chkdsk /DriverLetter" Press enter. EX: chkdsk /C

Right click on the driver you want to check
Then Properties > Tools and > in Error checking Click check now

How to Edit the Windows Registry

Editing Windows Registry is may harm to your operating system, if you do any wrong when you editing it or by mistakes when you go around of your windows registry.So my first advise is backup your Registry before do any changes to it and through it we can recover any error that made by our mistake.

Editing the Windows registry can most easily be accomplished through the REGEDIT program built into Windows.

You can open your software Go to start> run> and typing 'regedit.'

All the changes you're doing using registry editor do not have to be save just after you done, All the changes are applied upon restarting the system. Also you should keep in mind that there is no 'cancel' button for undoing accidental changes, so make sure you keep careful note of the values you intend to edit and backup your registry before do any changes to it.

KEYS:
Registry values are stored in keys which appear as folders in the REGEDIT window. Most of the following instructions will have you add or edit values inside these keys.

When you highlight a key in the left pane, the values stored in it appear in the right pane. To edit a those values,
Right click it and select 'modify'

To add a new value:

• First navigate to the key in which you wish to add the value
• Then right click it and select 'new' then the type of value you wish to create. ( Values are 5 different types and you need to select which type of value you need to enter to the registry )
• Generally this will be either a string or DWORD value. Once you have created the value, name it, then right click on it to 'modify' its properties.
  

Note: That the naming convention for the registry, We would not allowed to use,
spaces, separate words indicated by using capital letters. For example: RegistryEditTips

Operating systems themselves require large amounts of memory. Windows XP’s bare minimum requirement is 128MB of RAM.

Color depth, or bit depth, is the amount of information that determines the color of a pixel. The more colors each pixel can show, the more colors the screen can show and the more shades of the same color, which can produce a more realistic, detailed picture. However, the higher number of bits required to give each pixel a higher color depth requires more video memory for the video system to store the pixel’s information and more processing by the computer.

Normally torrents are very slow but from torrents clients we can happy about Utorrent because it is speed up our downloads than others.Also it is very small programme so we can use it easily without any junks. Also there is another reason for use Utorrent We can hack it to optimize our download speed !

In past I don't like torrents because I have 512kbps connection and that time it gives me only 10kbps download speed so I got very disappointed about torrents. One day accidentally I encounter Utorrent since that I'm a torrent freak. Now I'm going to give you a very comprehensive tutorial about how to speed up torrents using my real experience.

By this tutorial I'll show you how to configure your µTorrent for maximum speed.Also you may want to configure your firewall and router ( only if you have) for speed up torrents.because both of that factors are very effective on torrents download speed.

Before begin this tutorial you need to download utorrent newest version because new version is optimized for speed by µTorrent team than it's old versions.
Download µTorrent 1.8 Beta Build 10431 (261 kB)

Now we are going to configure our µTorrent client.
open your µTorrent software ..

• Move to Options>Speed Guide

In speed guide click Run speed test button for check your connection speed and set the most appropriate value for it.
Then click on Test if port is forwarded properly and if your port hasn't any trouble You'll get a message like - OK! Port XXXX is open and accepting connections.
our first part is done!

• Then go to Options>Preferences>General

Append .!ut to incomplete files: UNCHECKED
Prevent stadby if there are active torrents: CHECKED
Pre-allocate all files: CHECKED

• In Options>Preferences>Connection

Under "Port used for incomming connections", you do not need to enter a port manually, normally it sets for the port that we checked in our first step.

Randomize port each time utorrent starts: UNCHECKED. I leave this unchecked because I have a good firewall, if you want extra security,check this option.

Enable UPnP port mapping (Windows Xp or later only): UNCHECKED. leave this as unchecked because it slowing down speeds.

Protocol Encryption: ENABLED. I would recommend everyone to enable this.( * if this options is available in your torrent client this should be checked because this will help to increase you download speed with many ISPs.But with new µTorrent 1.8 Beta haven't this options so you don't want to worry for it.I mention this here for users still who use old utorrent versions)

• Options>Preferences>Bandwidth

Under the number of connections:
Global Maximum Number of Connections: 130 .This number should not be set too low or the number of connections made to your torrents will be limited. Setting it too high may cause too much bandwidth to be used and can cause slowdowns.

Maximum Number of connected peers per torrent: 70 If you see that the peers connected to a specific torrent are exactly this number, or very close, increase this number to improve speeds.

Number of upload slots per torrent: 3 This depends on how much you want to upload to other users. Do not set too low or it may affect download speeds.

Use additional upload slots if upload speed <90%:>

• Go to Options>Preferences>BitTorrent

Enable DHT Network: CHECKED ( This is recommended to be checked to improve speeds. More people will be available for sharing if this is checked. )Enable DHT for new torrents: CHECKED
Enable Peer Exchange: CHECKED
Enable tracker for scrape information: CHECKED
Limit local peer bandwidth : UNCHECKED

• Then under Options>Preferences>Queuing

Maximum number of active torrents: 2
Maximum number of active downloads: 1

Then we're moving to best part of this tutorial, We are going to patch our windows tcpip.sys file.

If you use Windows XP SP2, patch tcpip.sys with Event ID 4226 Patcher to get better performance.( DO NOT CHANGE THIS OPTION unless you have Windows XP SP2 and have patched tcpip.sys. )

• Now Go to Options>Preferences>Advanced in your utorrent software

find - net.max_halfopen: and set its valut to 50
After you did this it'll should like this: net.max_halfopen: *50 ( * will indicate that it got change )

Note: there are a lot of daily occurrences it’s likely that the max amount of half-open tcp connections was set back to 10. Or you’re infected with some nasty spyware also
“windows updates” revert your tweaked tcp connections back to 10. So it’s wise to check this every now and then.

• Type in your default gateway into your default browser, a password prompt may come up. The default user name and password are admin for my router ( if you don't know router user and pass you need to contact your client )

• Under ‘Applications’ fill out one line for each p2p client you use

• You need to use your ip address, the correct port range and set either tcp or udp

• You can find and change the ports in the actual p2p client’s settings, just make sure they are the same in the router

• Most p2p apps need both tcp and udp checked, if you are not sure check your p2p client’s FAQ

Like motherboards and processors, cases come in many configurations, which are characterized by the orientation of the box, the number of drives and expansion slots it can hold, and the size of the expansion cards it can take.

The computer case should be durable, easy to service and have enough room for expansion.Make sure you buy a case which will fit into the space you intend to place it. This is where you decide between a desktop or a tower case. Make sure it has a power supply. Is the case clean?

Pay attention to the form factor: AT or ATX. Almost all newer motherboards are using the ATX form factor, so if you have an old case lying around, chances are a new board won't fit in it. If you do a lot of upgrading, you should get a case that is designed with this in mind, such as easily removed motherboard mounting plates, drive racks, etc. Things like the turbo switch and keylock are ancient technology. Try to have the buttons such as power and reset recessed, so that if you keep the case under the desk you won't accidentally kick the thing and reset it. Also, check the sturdiness of the case. Or, if you’re so inclined, you can grab a nice case and do your own mods to it. For some reason, though, I’ve never been keen on tearing huge holes into my PCs, but maybe it’s just me. I would advise you to keep away from the ones with plastic cases they are crap and fall apart unless kept in the cupboard and never taken out to add anything.

Secondly- These level of boards are most commonly used. These boards come with a single CPU slot, EIDE controller, etc. Most don't have built in video, although more of them have built-in sound. Some of these boards offer RAID capability. With the proper amount of PCI slots, this type boards are great.

Thirdly- you have the beasts which most of us cannot afford. These are the dual processor boards, often with built on NIC and SCSI, a shipload of PCI slots. These are more for NT work stations than your desktop PC.

Some things you want to bear in mind:

Board Layout - You should consider where everything is placed on the motherboard. Is there a big capacitor right near the CPU slot, blocking where your CPU fan will go? Is there a bunch of crap that will block your full-length PCI card from fitting? Are the memory slows in a position where you’d need to remove the floppy drive to get at I them? You need to know roughly what you will be plugging into this board and know if anything will get in the way. This also depends on the size of the case you are using. Slots - You need to pay attention to how many PCI slots a motherboard has. For most of us the standard 5 or 6 PCI slots will be fine. Make sure the board has an AGP slot and if necessary, ISA or CNR slots.

Manuals - You should buy a board with a good manual. Make sure to look at the manual before buy and make sure you can understand it. Most well known brands have decent manuals. Asus, Abit, FIC, Tyan, Shuttle and a few others come with nice manuals. Another thing to keep in mind is that the better-known manufacturers often have nice web sites, and you can get support info there, too.

Form Factor - I would recommend you to going with the ATX form factor. ATX integrates all of the connectors, whereas with AT, you have to plug all of that crap in. AT boards use that big DIN keyboard connector which is a relic.

Chipset - The chipset is the hub of your motherboard. You need to pay strong attention to what chipset a motherboard has before you purchase it. The chipset is fully responsible for what hardware your motherboard will support now and in the future. It controls everything. If your motherboard won't support ATA-100, AGP 4x, etc, the chipset should responsible for that.

Hardware Support - Pay attention to the specs to make sure that the board will support the hardware you would like to use. If possible, allow room for expandability beyond what you will be using as this will ensure you can use the board for awhile. If there are embedded components such as sound or video, this is fine as long we you are able to disable it easily.

Reviews - Finally, before purchasing any motherboard, find out what others think of it. Experience is the best ever.

Some of them take pride that they can give you a technical answer in two seconds and make themselves look smart, even though what they just said is probably wrong. If you walk in and say your computer keeps crashing and he insists you need a new motherboard and CPU to fix it, go somewhere else.

Most towns have smaller shops that sell and repair computer equipment. These may be office and stationary suppliers in a shopping center. Regardless of location, such shops are often cheaper and can provide individual attention. The hardware they sell is often retail packaged from the manufacturer. They may also sell OEM hardware, which usually comes wrapped in nothing but a static bag and is accompanied with very little documentation. You will need to be the judge on this type of hardware. If you feel you need the documentation, you should not buy OEM hardware. Also, not to stereotype certain businesses, but I have to tell you this so you'll be informed, the smaller computer stores are sometimes a little more questionable as to their honesty I've found. This is not always the case, but since they are a smaller business and don't have the large sale volumes of the larger retail stores, they are often under more pressure to make the sale just to stay solvent. things. Quite simply, they refer to how computer instructions and data are processed by your computer, either in 32-bit units or in 64-bit units.
Because a 64-bit unit is twice as large as a 32-bit unit, the assumption isthat 64-bit programs and operating systems are twice as fast as their 32-bit counterparts. Twice as fast may be stretching it a bit, but the basic underlying assumption is generally true. 62-bit programs and operating systems are faster than 32-bit programs and operating systems

First you need to Install the Addon called HappyChecker
HappyChecker Install to Browser

( many peoples complaint me that this only downland and isn't install So I'm editing this because of peoples how don't know about extensions..
First download the extension and then Go to your Mozilla Firefox installed folder In it locket the Folder called EXTENSIONS and past the file you downloaded from here and restart your browser
In my case it's in "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\extensions" )

We can't prevent from SPAMMING by only changing our primary email address or not giving it to anyone

Even we can't change our email time to time and there are many difficulties with this.So I found some very effective ways to combat spam and one such was is using a Spam filtering tools.

MailWasher is the particular tool that I am referring you. It is really great and helpful to me with spam mail disaster.

Mailwasher is a great piece of software that I found it connects directly to your in box on the server and takes care of emails there. That is the main different between mailwasher and other spam softwares. Mailwasher wipes out emails on the email server, so you don't want to download them anymore. Having a filter in Outlook would mean that the email has to first be downloaded onto your computer and then examined it spam or not. For those messages spreading viruses, this could well pose a threat.

With Mailwasher there are many controls for work with spam mails. You can specify emails be deleted automatically without your knowledge or you could have the program mark them for deletion but let you glance at them just in case. This is useful initially until you get a good feel for it.

In mailwasher a concept of a blacklist and a white list. Mailwasher allow all emails through that are on the white list. It will mark or automatically delete all those that are on the blacklist. Adding or removing someone from either list is a very simple point and click exercise.

Mailwasher also allows the setting up of legitimate filters. If you identify all emails coming from your company domain name as being legitimate, then all messages from your company will be allowed through without you having to specify each person. This is achieved using a wild card setting such as "@youcompanydomain.com".. This can also be used to blacklist an entire domain such that all messages are immediately marked for deletion or automatically deleted depending on your settings.

Also MailWasher does not interfere with your email software. It sits in the system tray and does its work diligently. We can make it to checks our inbox every minutes and does a clean out.

Clear Windows Media Player Recent File List

We are going to do this by editing your windows registry,So if you are not familiar to Registry then please backup it first.

We all love to WMP- Windows Media Player,We use it to play multimedia files. Like many other software applications, WMP also has recently played files list and displays them in the Recent File List under the File menu.May be this feature is very useful to this, But if you share your computer with another person then he can know what you did with your computer and what you watched. This is the main disadvantage of this recent file list.

There are many ways to clear Windows Media Player Recent file list:

You can use software like privacy eraser ,Track eraser or One click destruction but many of them very pricey, But if you use them there is more percentage to save your privacy from outside peoples.

There's another method to Clear your WMP recent file list, We are going to make some change in registry.
You can Delete the WMP Recent file list through the Windows Registry:

• First Go to >>Start >> Run >> then type "regedit" To open Windows Registry Editor

• Find this string in your registry. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\RecentFileList.

• Delete the RecentFileList subkey.

• If you've also streamed content from the Internet, you can delete the RecentURLList subkey.

• Exit the Registry Editor.

• Restart the computer.
  

NOTE: Don't delete the entire key. Deleting individual entries within the key will get rid of the files that you no longer want in the Recent File List.

I found trick for make annoying to your friends in your Messenger list. Just for fun only ! If not there's a risk to you getting remove from your friends Messenger lists :)

This is really fun, I do this just only one time , Because if not I know definitely my friends remove me from their messenger list. But if we do this with our enemy, There is something to talk.It's up to you. I write this tutorial because of your knowing just how to do this.

First you want to download a file from here

It is a zip file,

• Extract it to your desktop or any other place in your computer just as normally you do for a zip.

• Then connect to the internet and open your yahoo messenger.

• Login to your account just as you're doing every day.

• Double click on Yahoo Online Offline Annoyer.exe to open

• Now go to Contact > Add contact > and type your Id in that Box given in the ADD TO MESSENGER LIST window ( We doing this for experiment purpose )

• Now Click the button of Start Annoying In our small programme.

• Then see what happen ( If yahoo messenger gives a message about invisible situation just un check the small box appears in the left side corner in that window. )

• First Go to "Start" and then "Run"

• Type "regedit" (for open registry editor)

• Then find the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WinLogon

• Create a new string value and name it as "LegalNoticeCaption" and enter the value, that you want to place in your menu bar

• Create a new string value and name it as "LegalNoticeText" then, Modify it and insert the message you want to display each time Windows boots, as a banner.

Restart your windows and If you were follow my above steps correctly you should see your text in windows Boots Screen

They collect usernames form sites for this case and then they can assure more emails are correct and deliver to the user that can be important to them.

Ever fill out a registration form on a website and find a little checkbox, probably near the bottom, that asking you if you want to receive additional information, newsletters, or something of related to that site? Often the box is checked, and in order NOT to receive the info, you have to UNCHECK it.
I saw this in MSN registration form too. They check it in their registrtion form,So you have to unchek it if you not prefer to recive those mails. In many times you should miss that types of boxes on the wrong kinds of sites, then your email addresses may be handed to spammers.

You can use disposable email address for keep many spammers away from you. This is a good idea. I always use this when I'm at a suspect site.

"www.despammed.com" - This site expect registration once you register with it ,it work fine.

Step04: Newsgroups and forums
Newsgroups and forums, Many spammers love those sites. They collect people personal email addresses from those places. Spammers hunting email addresses from those sites every second using their harvester programs. If you have to post
your email address then use the following format:

Format: Username AT domain.com instead of Username@domain.com .Spammer's progarmmes can't identify this format.So you'll be safe

Step05: Use a free spam filter.
Even when you follow all the steps I told you above you can still mess-up with spam mails. Then I recommand you to use free spam filter program like Mailwasher. It's excellent and you won't cost you a penny for it.

Here after I'm going to talk about each type of spam filter and at the end of this tutorial you should decide what spam filter is more suit for you.

Type 01 :Integrated spam filters:

This type of spam filtering software is the most common and you want to install it to your pc.Once installed it appears "on top" of your email software and it installs few options for your email software. When you get you can use these options to marking email as Spam, marking the email as Not Spam, Bounce the email back to sender, etc..

This type of spam filters automatically place suspected junk email into a separate folder so you can review and delete them later.

Also these are very intelligent. They know the difference between what is spam and what is not and delete the junk email you don't want.

Some recommend integrated spam filters are:
1) Hate Spam
2) pambully
3) Spam Inspector

Advantages of integrated filters:
They have One click solution.

Disadvantages of intergrated filters:
Software specific. Some work with Outlook and Outlook Express only.So you can't use them with every email softwares.

Type 02 :Standalone spam filters:
A standalone spam filter is a separate piece of software installed on your PC that you can use to check your email for spam.These are less common than the integarted ones.

Standalone filters can preview your email on the mail server before it's downloaded to your PC.This is big advantage of it. By this you can download the email that you want as opposed to downloading all of your email, including the spam, and then sorting through it.

Standalone spam filter is separate piece of software that you have to run
before you open up your email software. Most standalone filters do allow you to configure them so that your standard email application is opened once you've chosen what spam to filter.

Some recommend integrated spam filter is:
1) Mailwasher Pro

Advantages of Standalone spam filters:
you can use them with any email application with properly.

Disadvantages of Standalone spam filters::
To use this there is two separate process ,Load standalone filter and then your email application.

Type 01 :Online spam filters

There are two types of online spam filters.One is for business use and other one is for home use.

Example for business type filter is iHate Spam server edition ,the software deletes junk email directly from the mail server before the end user even sees it. Large companies use this technology.

Example for home user is spam arrest. Spam Arrest offers nice solution to spam, when any email sent to the users account, they send challenge request back to it which the sender must authenticate. The automatic junk email software used by spammers can't currently deal with this type of response.
Any failure to authenticate the challenge email results is email erased automatically. A user is authenticated with Spam Arrest only once for security just to make sure the software doesn't become a nuisance.

1) Spam Arrest

Advantages of Online spam filters:
Users are guaranteed to only receive the email that they want or requested.

Disadvantages of Online spam filters::
Any technical problems with the Spam Arrest server,then you have no defense against spam.

How To Fix Windows XP Corrupted Files

I made this tutorial because I saw many people are going to reinstall their os when they getting error on exiting one.

As we know by installing OS regularly we lost many of our important data and it's very time consuming.So how do we fix our corrupted data without installing our operating system. I found this method accidentally but this is a nice way to achieve our target. So I decided to post this in here for peoples who worry about their computer corrupted Files.

To continue with this tutorial to fix your system you need to have a Windows XP cd.If you have your exiting operating system installed CD I recommend to use it.

K lets begin with our tutorial,
First Put your XP CD into the CD-Rom drive
Then go to Start
Run
and type ’sfc /scannow’( It should be sfc /scannow without the ' ' )

This should fix your corrupted files in XP.It should load all files from cd to your windows folder. Actually this procedure does is a simple copy paste of the original file from cd to its respective location in your system.

Their is other way to fix this corrupted files in your system using your windows xp cd. It little bit alternate from our first method.

First Boot your computer using windows XP cd
Then ignore the first repair option you get "by pressing R"
Then move further as you do to install xp again.
When it shows you that Windows XP is already installed,
Then select it & there you will have repair option. So just repair it, this won’t affect any of your installed softwares so you don't need to worry about your installations.

You are done!

NOTE: You may lose the updated files that is done from windows update by going through this process, so you may have to update again to get those files.
